Personal Care Product Workshop

Hey MES’ers

As clean eating, detox diets, and juice cleanses have reached a fever pitch in Canada, it has become clear that health-savvy folks are suffering from an epidemic of inconsistency. Somewhere along the way, we have developed an attitudinal dissonance between what we put in and what we put on our bodies. Personal care products such as shampoo, toothpaste, and skin care products contain numerous toxic ingredients that are known allergens, carcinogens, and hormone-disrupters.

Join us to become an informed consumer at the Personal Care Product Workshop where you will learn what ingredients to avoid and which to embrace. You will also learn how to make your own natural alternatives!

You will have the chance to make ONE of the following:

1) Deodorant

2) Lip Balm

3) Moisturizer

All ingredients will be provided. All you need to bring is a container to take home your product!

The workshop will be on February 24 at 1:30pm in HNES 141.

There are only 20 spots available for this workshop so be sure to sign up quick.
