We recently elected a new executive for 2017.
Alicia Richins (Chair)
Alicia is a second year MES student working on applying the theoretical framework of ecological economics to the practice of international development planning. A “Trini to de bone,” her regional focus is on the Caribbean and Latin America, and her Major Research seeks to model a blue circular economy on a Caribbean island. As a member of the Planning program, the Economics for the Anthropocene (E4A) program, and the CERLAC Diploma program, you’ll likely see her in class or zooming by in the hallways if you haven’t already, but she’s always happy to chat over tea.
Madison Hopper (Research and Travel Fund Officer)
Madison is a second year MES student specializing in business strategies for sustainability and social enterprise development. Her major research project the Green Campus Cooperative studies the influence that this mission-driven organization has on the institutions around it (suppliers, customers, competitors, etc). She also works with Fairtrade and Organic cotton suppliers to create unique alternative distribution systems and value propositions that are rooted in sustainability and equitable trade practices.
Jason Robinson (Financial Officer)
Nicole Doray (Internal Officer)
